LOST IN GREY

Finnish Theatrical Metal

The Finnish theatrical metal band LOST IN GREY will be releasing their 2nd album THE WASTE LAND in January 2019. Inspired by symphonic and folk metal, literature and the world itself, Lost in Grey creates multifaceted music, and they bring elements of drama to the songs as well as live performances. On this new album they dive into the themes that lead to the story of their debut album THE GREY REALMS (2017).

The Waste Land is a place where suppressed thoughts and emotions live on as echoes and

whispers. In the vast emptiness there is time and space for them to develop and to be dealt with. It is a place for withering, but also growth. Telling the story, Harri Koskela (also keyboard), Emily Leone (also violin) and lyricist Anne Lill Rajala play the characters within the story and bring a very own touch to it through their diverse voice talents. Additionally, wonderful guest musicians such as Nele Messerschmidt (Elvellon), Andi Kravljaca (Thaurorod), Tero Kalliomäki (Embassy of Silence) and Lasse Nyman (Thaurorod) have contributed to the album making The Waste Land an unforgettable experience.

Lost in Grey are without doubt one of the most promising newcomers within recent years,

electrifying their audiences through their suspense–‐packed story and the terrific sound setting. Listen to a piece of art in which the lyrical concepts are in an inseparable union with the musical compositions and all the graphics around the album, showing the talent and commitment of each band member.

Finally the most powerful metal/hardcore band in a domestic scene has been taking off the veil! The band strated 6 years ago back in 2013. Since the end of 2012, the new history has begun. The band started with a 2 core members, the vocalist Ina who has played in METAL SAFARI which has well known in the overseas heavy metal/hard core scene from the very first start in 2005 and Tomo the bassist who has played in the same band from 2011 to 2012.They invited ex-DEATH FILE.ex-SURVIVE, and curent BATCAVE guitarlist RYO-SUKE to exceed more career and power to the band.

They have done many live shows in this 2 years to be more powerful band, changing a drummer several times and in 2015 finally they have got a new drummer Toru from ELEMENT. The strong sound such as mixing of slash metal, hard core, 90’s groove metal make a live show more energic and the bands name has spread out into a domestic scene.

ONCE AWAKE

ONCE AWAKE

ONCE AWAKE

Modern Death Metal from Norway

Norway, well-known for it’s beautiful landscapes, fjords, and an active Extreme Metal scene. But modern Death Metal? Nothing you would think about directly. But Hans Petter Solen and Ørjan Paulsen have found another source of inspiration in the beautiful city of Bergen than many of their fellow country-men. Passion, talent and a love for groovy Metal from all over the world are gathered in a powerful mixture by ONCE AWAKE, which are completed by Andrè Kongestøl Solberg (Guitar), Pål Martin Antonsen (Bass) and Frode Hennø (Vocals). Fans of bands like Illdisposed, Lamb Of God and Tesseract will feel home in the world of ONCE AWAKE quickly. Forceful Metalcore bumps into edgy riffs, catching melodies and an affinity for Djent. On top of that, ONCE AWAKE already proved that they have a distinctive individual signature that brings a certain freshness to their sound despite all the influences on their debut album „Erver So Cold“ (2017). They will release another tempest with their upcoming album “Inside The Storm” as well. On this one, ONCE AWAKE have developed even further: in the songwriting as well as in terms of perfecting their groove and catchiness. Sometimes in mid-tempo groove, sometimes brisk and aggressive, the quintet presents ten songs somewhere between old heroes, Melodic Death giants and a modern sound. Enough edges are given to stay interested, but also a fine sense for great melodies that will always lead you into the eye of the storm with fascination. Flashing guitar solos, emotional leads and versatile vocals by Frode Hennø provide a maximum variety that will make ONCE AWAKE one of the most exciting Scandinavian exports of the year in 2019. „Inside The Storm“ was produced and mixed by Hans Petter Solen himself in his Secret Door Studio.

PARASITE INC.

PARASITE INC.

German Melodic Death Metal

PARASITE INC. were founded 2007 in the German Metal hot spot Aalen and became well-known pretty quickly. Their 2010 demo “Parasite Inc.“ already found a lot of fans within the worldwide Melodic Death Metal community. Since their debut album “Time Tears Down“ at latest, the Southern German band was predicted a great future. They received lots of positive feedback from the scene press as well as from dozens of headbangers in front of every stage PARASITE INC. played on. If on festivals or tours, at home or in foreign countries: The quartet reached every single audience and their fame grew. The reason why: PARASITE INC. developed their own sound right from the beginning while keeping their own trademarks. But not everything went well: line-up changes and the closing of their label followed, and so it became quiet around the band. Viewed from the outside, it looked like PARASITE INC. had disappeared as one of the highly praised talents within the depths of the scene.

But we were wrong! The Germans have been more active than ever, developing their sound continuously and were working intensely on new stuff in the background. In the mid of 2017, the band entered their own studio to record the long-awaited new album which is worth the waiting: eleven tracks unite into the mighty “Dead and Alive“. The band continues to offer powerful Melodic Death Metal – sometimes gloomy and atmospheric, sometimes straight into your face. But that’s not enough, so the band added several new elements like Punk, Thrash and 80’s Synth Rock, thus adding a lot of facets, creating a varied and exciting album that now arises. As with “Time Tears Down” the band had the complete control over the production.

Guitarist and singer Kai comments: It was definitely important for us to have a harmonious overall concept that satisfied us, from the artwork to the mix, while giving me a lot of time for the songwriting and above all for the lyrics. Our drummer Benni again did a fantastic job for the artwork and the mix.”

This time the mastering was done by the talented hands of Pitchback Studios mastermind Aljoscha Sieg who already gave the final touch to bands like August Burns Red, Nasty and Eskimo Callboy.

“Dead and Alive” is strongly influenced by their own fans, who significantly supported the new PARASITE INC. album through a crowdfunding campaign. It was released on August 17th via Reaper Entertainment.

SILVER BULLET

SILVER BULLET

SILVER BULLET

Powerfully orchestrated, riff-infused Symphonic Power Metal

Silver Bullet’s inception dates back to the year 2008 when the band was founded under the name of Dirge Eternal and it was around this time that the quintet started carving its very own niche by basing their entire lyrics on the gloriously gory genre of horror movies. The first demos already served as ominous harbingers of the gloriousness that was to come, before former Dreamtale vocalist Nils Nordling and ex Turisas bass player Hannes Horma completed the pack and helped forging the full-length debut “Screamworks” that was released in mid-2016. The album’s guiding theme – classic horror movies – was masterfully transferred to the stage, with actors serving as zombie nurses, possessed little girls and even as a chainsaw-wielding lunatic, making Silver Bullet’s notoriously entertaining live shows an audiovisual experience in a class of its own. After an extensive and highly successful stretch of touring, the Finns will return with their second offering of powerfully orchestrated, riff-infused Symphonic Power Metal in 2019. Though the backdrop of horror flicks was left behind, “Mooncult” nevertheless serves as a real spine-chiller, offering a hauntingly thrilling plot set in the vastnesses of Scotland that is loosely based on a true story. Having teamed up with up-and-coming metal powerhouse Reaper Entertainment Europe, new shores of eerie excellence are just a knife’s throw away. Brace yourselves to be ripped apart by silver bullets of purest heavy metal!
